Understanding, Acceptance, and Tailored Support for Young People in CareAt Agpe4All Limited, we provide specialised support for young people aged 16 and over in care who are neurodivergent, including those with ADHD and Autism. We recognise that being in care adds complexity—and that support must be consistent, compassionate, and person-centred.
Our Understanding
Young people in care often face instability, trauma, and unmet needs. When neurodiversity is present, such as ADHD or Autism, these challenges may increase. We do not pathologise behaviour. We focus on understanding the why behind it and building supportive, trusting relationships.
How We Support:
Tailored Care Planning
We contribute to care plans that take sensory needs, communication styles, and attention differences into account.
Structured, Safe Environments
Routines and predictability to reduce anxiety and support emotional regulation.
Trauma-Informed Keywork & Mentoring
One-to-one support to help with identity, self-awareness, and life skills—at a pace that suits the young person.
Life Skills & Education Engagement
We work with EHCPs and local authorities to ensure education or training is accessible, flexible, and meaningful.
Multi-Agency Working
We liaise with social workers, SEN teams, mental health professionals, and families to ensure holistic support.
Autism & ADHD Awareness Sessions
We educate staff, carers, and peers to promote understanding and reduce stigma.
